A BIT ABOUT ANGELA

Angela Dawne was born at a very young age, somewhere on planet earth. So far in her life, she has earned a black belt and instructor certification in TaeKwonDo, lived overseas as an MK for over a dozen years, become a daughter of the Most High, and discovered a love of words.

This young writer aspires to make an impact on those around her by using written words. She writes for her King, Jesus Christ, and strives to honor Him in all her words and stories.

THE GENTLE WHISPER OF THE UNKNOWN

Addy has never felt as though she belongs. She hears a voice most others don’t- The Whisper. This brands her as an outcast. But when she’s called upon to join a quest, she sees a chance to prove herself- and a chance to belong.

Jace feels like an outcast. With a death that haunts his past and a society that dictates his life, he’s more than eager for a change of scenery that the quest will bring. But will he be able to overcome his emotions and be able to think clearly when the time comes?

Soon, the four realize that the quest is not what it seemed and the world isn’t as they imagined.

TIME MANAGEMENT: 3 WAYS TO GET THE MORE OUT OF LESS

by Angela Dawne

I bent over the keyboard typing furiously. In the last 5 minutes, I’d gotten interrupted three times by three different members of my family, and I could feel my inspiration slowly fading away. At a slight knock at the door, I stood up, enraged. How dare someone enter the premises when the artist was at work?

5 WAYS I OVERCOME WRITER'S BLOCK

by Angela Dawne

The computer screen mocked me. The plain white document sneered at me, daring me to write something. Hands shaking, I slowly touched the keyboard.

3 TIPS ON HOW TO STICK WITH YOUR WIP

by Angela Dawne

I groaned as I opened up my WIP. I’d been writing the story for about two weeks, and I was already tiring of it.

I briefly read over a bit of it, and felt my discouragement growing. Why had I thought this was such a great idea in the first place?
